Practice/Experience
Joined what was then Neill Griffin Jeffries & Lloyd in 1983 in a general civil practice, which has included: litigation and trial of various types of cases -– from auto accidents, to legal and medical malpractice, trust and probate disputes, and property rights litigation — with a current focus on representing landowners in eminent domain cases and other real estate litigation, and representing parties in probate and trust litigation; real estate transactions representing buyers and sellers, and acting as title and closing agent; and, business law, including forming and supporting business entities, and asset and entity sales.
Has also been Town Attorney of St. Lucie Village, Florida, since 1989, and was the attorney for the District Board of Trustees of Indian River State College from 2017 through July, 2022, was engaged as the attorney to St. Lucie County Contractor Examining Board in 2022 and, in 2023, became the special magistrate acting as the Board of Adjustment for St. Lucie County.
Has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and County Court Mediator from 2007 to date.
