PRACTICE/EXPERIENCE:
Renée Marquis-Abrams began her legal career in Tampa, Florida, before joining the firm in 1997, which, at that time, was known as Neill, Griffin, Jeffries, Fowler, Tierney & Neill, Chartered. Throughout her career, Ms. Marquis-Abrams has devoted most of her practice to Wills, Trusts & Estates for a wide range of clients. Over the years, Ms. Marquis has handled hundreds of probate and trust administrations, some of which included the preparation of estate and gift tax returns, prepared numerous estate planning packages for her clients, including simple Wills, complex Trusts, health care directives, and powers of attorney, and has formed many business entities, such as family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations. In 2001, Ms. Marquis was recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in Wills, Trusts & Estates by the Florida Bar, and during that same year, became a partner in the firm, where she continues to help clients with their estate and business planning needs, as well as the probate and trust administration process.
